What We Do
Hearing Hearts is comprised of my family members, a few volunteers, and me. We stay at the Patiala School every summer, meet with students to understand their needs, meet with their families, and then come together to strategize solutions. We then return to the school armed with funds, an action plan, and the drive to make a difference.

Mission
The voices of Indian children with disabilities are often left unheard. Parents are overstretched and struggling to earn their daily bread. Teachers handle large classrooms and stick to rigid timings. Few understand sign language. Who listens?

With love and patience, when we do listen, we discover their needs and desires and become deeply humbled. Things we all take for granted, they don't get the chance to experience. Watching a movie, going out for a burger, taking a dance class, learning a new skill.
That's what we do. We listen and take action.
Vision
My vision is to create a community with hearing hearts, to connect with people who are moved by their struggles, who are touched by their smiles, and who are inspired to help make a difference. In a country that is only beginning to offer special resources for the deaf and blind populations, it's on us to do something.
